YOUR GREATEST GIFT

Posted: September 30, 2012 in Helpful Websites

We ALL go through various times when we feel we walk alone. Okay, I can be trite and say “No one ever really walks alone.” And that is true. What is also true is that you will be facing things in life when you feel alone, because it is YOUR battle.  There is one who “sticketh closer than a brother.” And you can call on your resources anytime. But let’s face it, sometimes it sure feels like we are asked to “Walk on Water”. And we certainly can not do this alone.  Most of us stay in the boat, and then wonder why we don’t see progress in society.

Data shows that one person (that would be you), over the course of a seven year period will affect or influence over twenty thousand people, minimum. We are talking about the average Joe kind of person. No big seminars, no great books, no great teaching gigs down here on the planet. Think about Linkedin for instance. You can see by the stats how one connection connects to others, and part of those others are linked in some way to the decision you made to take action and get involved.

So, you don’t have to fight for your future. Nope, you don’t! You heard right! But, your greatest gift will be giving something positive to the lives that will be inevitably influenced over the course of the next seven years. One seed can reap a harvest. And your decisions you make for yourself, in your life today will affect others either for the good or in a way that others lives are made more difficult in the future. This is true for parents, but not only for parents. This is true for everyone, if you live on planet earth. And if you don’t live here, well, help us out, will ya?

Shalom,

Julie
